Michèle Noiret initiates a work of creation of short forms, which are grouped together under the "Collection" concept. An approach that opens the door to other creators: by seeking unexpected encounters, the choreographer wants to explore unexplored terrain.
Four short proposals expounded on the reflex of desire and its many faces. As a starting point, a text describing the passion of a loving relationship. It creeps in the resonant matter or in silence, whispered into the mike, it becomes a loving, solitary fragment. Poetic, graceful, DÉSIRS also sets out to be disturbing. From life to death: metamorphosis, sensuality, complicity, violence. The structure of this condensed form is based on discontinuity, accident, a breaking. Movement sensors amplify a scene of urban guerrilla warfare, image of this brown plague that smoulders: desire to kill oscillating between the video game and the tragic reality of an attack. On the other side of the mirror, a polyglot verbal frenzy, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, immerses us into the “nonsense”, they embrace, love, kill each other and rise from the dead.
